A Very Special Love, pinipilahan pa rin
Her launching movie, A Very Special Love, is Star Cinema’s biggest film for the year so far, making P14-M on opening day (two weeks ago na hanggang ngayon ay pinipilahan) and toppling Brendan Fraser’s Mummy 3.
Matagal na rin na walang Tagalog film na kumita ng ganito kalaki na so far ay more than hundred million na raw ang kinita sa second week run ng pelikula.
This should make local movie industry proud, since it is rare to see a Filipino film outgrossing its more expensive, more spectacular counterpart in Hollywood.
Critics, who have also praised Sarah for tackling her role in the movie intelligently, saying she was ‘bubbly without overacting,’ would again like to see how Sarah is furthering improving her craft.
The ever-humble Sarah can only wish she can live up to their high expectations in her follow-up movie with John Lloyd, with whom she has struck so much chemistry every member of the Cinema Evaluation Board (CEB) who saw the movie noted how ‘refreshingly sincere’ she is in tackling her role.
