Goin’ Bulilit mainstay Igi Boy Flores admitted that he’s more comfortable playing comedy roles because he wants to provide laughter among the viewers. “ Nakakatuwa ‘pag comedy kasi po nakakapagpasaya ka ng ibang tao. Eh sa drama po parang nagpapalungkot ka ng ibang tao,” he simply stated during an interview with ABS-CBN.com. But he is also aware of the pressure to deliver spiels that will really make people laugh out loud. “50-50 po kasi yung comedy eh,” he explained. “Kapag mabenta yung joke ni’yo madaming tatawa. Earning money at such a young age is not really a big deal for this 13-year-old actor. What matters to him is the fact that he can interact with other kids in between their taping hours. “Masaya po kasi mas marami akong naging kaibigan. Tawa lang kami ng tawa tapos yung iba nagbibiruan o kaya naglalaro.
But then again there are times when misunderstandings occur in the set or even in on-location shoots—just like what happened in their Boracay adventure last summer. Apparently, the bulilits were all busy completing a series of challenges when a heated argument suddenly erupted among the girls. “Hindi po scripted yun. Nagulat na nga lang po kami nung nag-away sila bigla,” Igi Boy recalled. But he also stressed that fights like that do not last them a week before they patch things up again. “Hindi naman po nagtatagal ang mga away. Kasi lahat yun parang maliliit lang na bagay.”
