Where on earth is Kaye Abad?
Have you ever wonder what happened to talented actress Kaye Abad? Where on earth is she right now?
The answer? She's still in the country, hoping and waiting for her time to snatch the limelight again.
Reports said that Abad disappeared after failing to keep her career on top and since she fell in love to Parokya ni Edgar lead vocalist Chito Miranda.
In a chance interview with Abad, the actress denied the reports that she's spending most of her time with Miranda. She said she's just taking a break from showbiz and just waiting for her time to come out again.
"Ganito talaga kumbaga ngayon panahon nila, ako panahon ko before. Ngayon nagla-lie low ako. So sana next year or this year ay maging panahon ko ulit," explains Abad.
Abad also denied reports saying that she's already planning to walk down the aisle with her longtime boyfriend.
"Steady lang kami, sobrang wala pang plano (ng kasal) engagagment nga wala pa e kasal pa kaya. Sobrang wala pa," Abad explained.
Abad's last long-running television project was ABS-CBN's "Sana'y Wala nang Wakas" with then on screen partner Jericho Rosales and Kristine Hermosa.
In May 2005 she appeared on the network's longest-running drama antholoy "Maalaala Mo Kaya" (MMK) for a special episode titled "Bestida."
Kaye or Katherine Grace Cosme Abad in real life was born in Easton, Pennsylvania, USA. She started her career in 1994 when she was launched as a member of ABS-CBN's youth-oriented show "Ang TV."
She became a member of Star Circle Batch 3 and then starred in "Star Drama Theater Presents."
At the young age of 16, she won her first major award in the Asian International Awards for Best Supporting Actress (First Runner-Up) for MMK's episode "Aklat."
She then played the character of "Eds" for teen-oriented show "Tabing Ilog."
In 2002, the late Fernando Poe Jr. personally picked him to play his daughter in the movie "Batas ng Lansangan" in which she received her Best Supporting Actress nomination. With a report from Ogie Diaz, "Umagang Kay Ganda"
