More surprises as 'Lobo' nears its end

With ABS-CBN's hit television series "Lobo" coming to an end this Friday, July 11, viewers should brace themselves for a lot more surprises in the show's last four nights.

"Maraming marami pa ang mangyayari dito sa 'Lobo.' Right now they are fighting the greatest evil that could change the whole 'Taong Lobo' world and sila Lyka and Noah lalabanan nila pareho ang evil na 'yon," Dang Bagas, Head Writer of "Lobo" said.

"Ang pinakama-e-expect nila ay justified ending, kung ano 'yung something they don't expect but still poignant sa magandang journey ng buhay ni Laika," Bagas added.

The head writer said that what makes "Lobo" stands out from other television series is the rareness of its story. She said that almost everything to make the story good was incorporated for the said series.

"The right words ay nag-i-evolve siya, 'yung love story ni Noah at Lyka nag-transcend siya. And it's just not two people anymore, tungkol na ito sa dalawang race," Bagas said.

She also added that the love story of Noah and Lyka can be described as the epitomy of the saying "Love conquers all."

Bagas who serves as one of the brains to complete the show promised not to fail the televiewers especially for the series' final day.

"Kung sa buong six months ng Lobo hindi namin sila na fail, we promise not to fail them now," Bagas said.

Bagas also extended her appreciation to all the viewers and the cast fans who never failed to watch the biggest and most expensive series ever produced by the Kapamilya network.

From viewers' eyes
The success of "Lobo" will never be complete without the priceless performances of other members of the cast. Headed by actress Angel Locsin and actor Piolo Pascual. They are supported by a powerhouse cast that includes veteran actress Pilar Pilapil; actresses Timmy Cruz and Agot Isidro; veteran actor Robert Arevalo; actor Eric Fructuoso and showbiz brothers Ryan and Geoff Eigenmann.

"I'm impressed with all the stars. I love Angel she's an intelligent actress. She really know how to handle and control her acting," Cherry Cornell, ABS-CBN's News Desk Editor said.

Cornell, who was a former stage actress said that she's also impressed on how the Eigenmann brothers played their roles.

"Si Geoff dati ng bata pa 'yan bubulol-bulol 'yan pero ngayon ang galing niya, he just showed that he is really the son of two great actors (Michael De Mesa and Gina Alajar). Si Ryan Eigenmann naman he is not the usual kontrobida ibang klase," the news editor said.

Coronell, also added that what makes the "Lobo" really special is that it was treated and produced like a film, that all the elements needed to make a box office movie were all there.

She also said that the story is unpredictable that you can't really tell what will exactly happened.

For a male point of view, courier, Jhing Sursigis admitted that he is watching "Lobo" also because of its good script and compelling characters.

"Yung mga gumanap na characters magaling lalo na si Angel Locsin, okay sa akin 'yon," Sursigis said.

Dream ending
This coming Friday, July 11, after "The Singing Bee" the country will witness the final night of "Lobo.", asked some viewers to share their "dream ending" for their favorite television show.

Student Kristine Javier said that she wants an action-packed ending. "Maaksyon po 'yung ending, 'yung mamatay si Anton (Ryan)," Javier said.

Kamille Santos, a 20-year-old student from Centro Escolar College said that she wants a happy ending for the couple.

"Syempre gusto ko magkasama sila after all the challenges na nangyari sa love nila," Santos said.

"Sa tingin ko babalik sa normal na tao si Lyka at magkakatuluyan sila ni Noah," said key operator Lito Malinao.

"Lobo" which started to air last January 28 will be replaced by "Iisa Pa Lamang" in ABS-CBN Primetime.
