Jennylyn Mercado excited to give birth
Actress-singer Jennylyn Mercado related the happiness and hardships of being an expectant mother.
Mercado said that she is set to give birth two or three weeks from now.
She said that being a first time mom, she is really excited to give birth to her baby boy.
Mercado admitted that until now she is still thinking of a beautiful name for her baby.
"Wala pang name, manganganak na lang ako wala pang name," she said.
The actress also shared that being pregnant is not that easy. She said she is having a hard time walking, moving, and breathing.
"Iba na yung feeling hindi na nakakatulog. I feel so bloated hindi ako makahinga 'yun yung feeling," said Mercado.
Mercado said that she is still hoping that her baby will rotate into an ideal birthing position, because right now her baby in a breech position.
When asked on what keeps her glowing, Mercado said: "Siguro depende sa pag-aalaga sa sarili ng family and friends ko, and my manager sobrang suporta ng manager ko."
The actress refused to talk on her relationship with the father of her baby, her former sweetheart Patrick Garcia.
Jennylyn Anne Pineda Mercado in real life started her career when she won a reality star search contest.
But before she entered the showbiz she made headlines as a battered child, when she was about four years old. The aggressor was her stepfather, who burned her skin with cigarette butts and put a flat iron on her back.
Mercado is the former sweetheart of actor Mark Herras. Unaware that she was already pregnant, she appeared on the cover of the January 2008 issue of a popular men's magazine.
