Erap, Gabby join 'Kapamilya Deal or No Deal'

No less than former president Joseph Estrada will grace the opening week of highly acclaimed game show "Kapamilya Deal or No Deal" when it returns on primetime television.

The exciting and nerve-wracking beginning of ABS-CBN's show will start this Monday, July 28th. As an opening salvo, Estrada will play the P2 million game any day of this week.

Aside from the former president, hottest comeback actor Gabby Concepcion will play for the first day of the show.

Host Kris Aquino will again be seen together with the mysterious Banker and the 26K girls weekday nights as they give a deal of a lifetime to lucky studio contestants with a whopping P2 million up for grabs.

Aquino is now busy taping for the show and preparing for her upcoming trip with her husband cager James Yap.

The Endemol-franchised game show will have a new look with its brand-new set. The 26K girls get even hotter with new members to watch out for. A drum and bugle corps called Parokya ni Banker is also set to spice up the show.

Viewers can join and win the “Kapamilya Deal or No Deal” text promo beginning August 4 by texting ABS DEAL to 2366 if you think the banker’s final offer is higher than the amount in the chosen briefcase, or ABS NODEAL if you think the amount in the chosen briefcase is higher than the banker’s final offer.

At least P20,000 in cash will be given away every night depending on which has the higher value, and up to P200,000 can be won monthly.

Last season, KDOND gave away up to P33 million in cash prizes where eight of its studio players became instant millionaires. About 30 celebrities also experienced facing the mysterious and intriguing banker and won cash prizes for themselves and their chosen charities.

Aquino recently appeared in “Deal or No Deal – Around the World” Philippines on NBC in the US with American host Howie Mandel. The special episode was a shining moment for the country as millions of Americans tuned in to see how their hit game show is played the Kapamilya way.

The show is part of the network’s "Panalo Bawat Pilipino" campaign celebrating the success of Kapamilya game shows that continuously entertain the public, improve people’s lives, and engage audiences through the years.
