Annabelle warns Ruffa against movie with Bong Revilla
Actress-host Ruffa Gutierrez said her mother Annabelle Rama warned her that she might be facing new controversies if she would do a movie project with senator-actor Ramon "Bong" Revilla Jr.
Gutierrez said her mother's statements came after ABS-CBN's movie outfit Star Cinema offered her to do a film with the good-looking senator.
"May movie offer kasi kaming dalawa ni Bong together. So noong in-offer-an ako ng Star Cinema sinabi lang ni mommy na 'naku day ha, Bong! baka maya-maya ay malink-link na naman kayo?' I'm like 'mommy please bakit naman kami mali-link ngayon?" said Gutierrez.
The former Miss World runner up said that if the project pushes through, she will do it simply because it is her job as an actress.
"I wanna prove to her that I'm really professional and kung trabaho, trabaho lang talaga," she said.
Gutierrez said that she and the senator are really good friends.
It will be remembered that Rama defended her daughter when reports surfaced that the senator's wife actress Lani Mercado snubbed Gutierrez twice.
Mercado eventually denied the reports and said that she did not greet Gutierrez the first time because she didn't see her, and because she was busy talking to someone else on the second occasion.
Gutierrez co-hosts ABS-CBN's weekly entertainment show "The Buzz", and is also busy taping for her upcoming television series "I Love Betty La Fea" with actress Bea Alonzo as Betty.
